Welcome to Scoil Bhríde Killasonna

Scoil Bhríde Killasonna is a small two-classroom Catholic primary school situated in the heart of our rural community. We are proud to provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

As a small school, we are able to develop strong relationships with our pupils and their families. We recognise the strengths, interests and needs of every child and work together to ensure that each pupil feels happy, supported and successful in school.

Our Catholic ethos underpins all aspects of school life. We strive to foster kindness, respect, honesty and compassion, encouraging pupils to care for themselves, for others and for the world around them.

Our aim is to provide a rich and varied educational experience where every child can learn, grow and thrive. While maintaining high standards in Literacy and Numeracy, we also place great value on participation in STEM, Music, Art, Sport, Wellbeing and other areas of school life. We believe that success comes in many forms and we encourage every child to develop their unique gifts and talents.
