Our Active Flag Committee
There are five pupils on our committee. They help to encourage and promote being active in our school. They helped to organise some baskets of equipment for the pupils to use during yard time. Lots of imagination is being used to create different games and activities.
Active Breaks
The whole school community really enjoyed taking part in the Active Break Every Day Challenge from the 18th November to 13th December.
There was a lovely mixture of movement and mindfulness activities designed by the Irish Heart Foundation and Gaelbhratach with a pupil choice activity each Friday.
Our Active Walkway
Our Active walkway is used by the whole school on a regular basis for movement breaks. It was measured by the Active School Committee and five laps is equal to one kilometre.
Our Active School Slogan
Congratulations to Cillian from Third Class who chose our Active Slogan. There was tough competition but this was the winner!
Skip Around Europe
Pupils have begun taking part in a 'Skip Around Europe' Challenge from 31st March to 9th May. They will skip each day and see how many European destinations they can make it to.
Fun and Fitness all rolled into one!
